ABOUT OUR SOY CANDLES

Here at The Snarky Mermaid, we keep our ingredients simple: 100% domestically grown soy wax, fine fragrance oils and cotton core wicks.  Our candles are hand-poured into apothecary inspired amber jars and finished with a kraft label and a black metal lid.  All of our candles are designed, produced and shipped from our Florida studio.

Vegan and cruelty-free (never tested on animals).

SIZE INFORMATION

4 ounce: Our small candle is great for traveling, for your desk or testing new scents in smaller spaces like bathrooms.  Burns for 17-24 hours.  Measures 2.25" in diameter x 2.75" in height.

9 ounce: Our classic size, a great bang for your buck.  Burns for 40-56 hours.  Measures 2.75" in diameter x 3.75" in height.

16 ounce: This size is meant for larger spaces, rooms with higher ceiling or those who just want a stronger scent throw. Burns for 70-98 hours.  Measures 3.5" in diameter x 3.75" in height.

CANDLE CARE

  • Trim your wick to 1/4" before each lighting

  • Allow the melted wax pool to reach the edges of the jar before extinguishing to prevent wax from building along the sides of the jar and tunneling

  • We recommend burning for approximately 3 hours at a time, though no longer than 4 hours

  • Never leave a candle unattended while burning or within reach of drafts, pets or small children

  • Candle jar will be hot after burning, so allow wax to cool before handling
